A STOMPer is left traumatised after a man touched her buttocks in a snack shop in Toa Payoh and followed her from Toa Payoh MRT Station all the way to Yio Chu Kang station yesterday (April 19).
Said the STOMPer:
"This guy followed me from Toa Payoh all the way to Yio Chu Kang at about noon yesterday (April 19).
"I was in a shop, getting some chocolates, and he stood right beside me. Didn't notice him much until he touched my butt while I was queuing at the cashier.
"Thought that he might have accidentally touched me, so I didn't care much. Then he came beside me pretending to be looking at snacks, kept moving backwards (towards me) with his hand nearer to me.
"I moved away. After noticing that he was doing some weird stretching outside the shop, something seemed not quite right here.
"He stayed outside the shop for quite a while, while I was still queuing up to pay. Then I went out, towards the MRT.
"Looking at the reflection of the notice board in front, I could see he was still following me.
"To make sure, I pretended to be rushing toward the train station and pretended to want to tap in.
"When I was a metre away from the tapping door (I don't know what's that called) I made a sudden U-turn, pretending that I wanted to top up my card.
"So he stood in front of the door, not tapping in. And doing some stretching instead.
"At that point, I know my feeling was right. No choice, I had to tap in, was going to be late for school. After me tapping in, looking at the TV showing at the train station, he also tapped in.
"I rushed down the stairs, acting as though I was going into the train that had just arrived. The same thing, he dashed down. Less than a meter before the train door, I made a right turn. He did the same thing, and he sat down facing the train toward Marina Bay.
"I then walked all the way toward the back of the platform facing towards Jurong East platform. After a while he came towards the back too.
"Both train arrived and he pretend to be doing stretching and looking at which train I would be boarding.
"Right after I walked toward the train on my side, he stood up. Before alighting, I stood up, pretending that I was going to alight. The same thing, he stood up. When the doors open at YCK, I was supposed to alight, but I waited for a few seconds after the door opened, then I alighted. He did the same.
"While walking towards the escalator at YCK platform, I pretended that I was going down, but when I reached the escalator, I stopped and walked away.
"Then he stood just at the head of the escalator doing some stretching again.
The STOMPer said the man only stopped following her after she pretended to talk to someone on her phone. "
She added: "If you happen know know him, please ask him to stop this act. It's obviously stalking. What's so good about touching people's butts and following them?
"It's really such a disgraceful act. Behave please. There are much more better things to do in life.
"Girls please beware. This happened at around 12 noon. Especially girls staying around Toa Payoh."
The STOMPer told STOMP that after she made a posting about her experience on facebook, two other girls messaged her saying that they too had been followed by the same man.
One of the girls said he had followed her from Toa Payoh all the way to Jurong East.

Those people just easily say, oh im so sorry, it was too cramp n just brush it off
Or u must be crazy i never follow u blah blah
The laws dont protect women much
Rape molest can still go scot free
No wonder all these things can still be so rampant
Hexing those people is the best approach since justice isnt doing anything
Oh, but i ve also read reports abt girls being the one giving guys problems, so this is not always the case.. Sometimes i guess the law doesnt protect good girls n guys but the bad ones with money to kick the authorities...
