Vandals deface public sign at HDB void deck, changing its meaning
STOMPer joyful caught sight of a sign which originally reminded residents to be mindful of their noise levels after 10pm. However, after being vandalised, its meaning was changed.
Said the STOMPer:
"Inconsiderate act.
"I saw this sign at a HDB void deck at Sembawang. The block is located behind Canberra Residences.
"This sign which was edited by someone or some people does not convey the intended meaning anymore.
"I also feel that as it is government property, the person who erased the words is also erasing government property in a way.
"It also does not give people a good impression, as the notice might convey the wrong meaning now; and what would foreigners think?"

Work of people with the same mindset like Sammantha Lo aka Sticker Lady and graffiti artist Oliver Fricker aka MRT artist. They are trying to act smart by making quirky quotes or colourful work of art, but vandalism is vandalism. People like NMP Janice Ko who asked the auhtorities for a lighter touch on Samantha should invite these people into her home and let them spray paint her home or paste quirky quotes all over.
