"This is a photo of a man's leg being stuck in the MRT platform gap at 4.20 pm on June 13.
"As he was alighting, he fell down and people tried to stop the train door from closing. A lady went over to help him pull his leg out before the station staff came over to get the man out. The train ride was disrupted for a short 5 minutes."
"Before the man fell down and got his leg stuck in the gap, he went about telling people in the cabin that he had back pain and asked them to give up their seat for him. Initially, the man approached me to give up my seat and I told him there's a Reserved Seat just opposite me (in fact there were a number of seats available as it was not so crowded in the afternoon).
"But he told me he wanted a non-Reserved Seat (or my seat). So I shifted to avoid further commotion. He sat down for two seconds before standing up quickly to give up his seat to a man in his 50s. That was when I knew he did not have back pain.
"Also, he claimed that he was heading to yishun but does not know how to, and he wants to see a doctor."
Just recently, a woman's leg become caught between the train and MRT platform at Bugis station.
Images 1 and 2 show the man whose leg got caught in the gap, while the rest of the images show the woman whose leg was stuck between the train and platform at Bugis.
