Since it was launched on Jan 11, STOMP has received a whopping 184 entries for the Love Story Contest, the largest number ever received. In the end, eight deserving winners were selected to receive prizes.
Here are the top Love Stories for 2012:
First Prize:
25-year-old Kavitha D/O Narayan Morthy (Shalini) says Gopal S/O Tamilvanon (Navin) gave her the strength to battle cancer. Although they did not have good initial impressions of each other, they overcame their differences and have since been together over seven years. When Kavitha was diagnosed with cancer, Gopal became even more devoted to her, keeping her positive and caring for her.
Kavitha wins a Apple Macbook Air laptop.

Second Prize:
32-year-old Johnson Foo braved the disapproval of his parents by dating divorcee Judy Tan, 31 who has a young daughter from a previous marriage. They worked hard to convince naysayers that their love was real and could stand the test of time, and hope to get married at the end of 2012, after nine years together.
Johnson wins a Sony Vaio laptop.

Third Prize:
24-year-old Shawn Ting sent Sharmian Tan, 20, an email every night for an entire year filled with the different things he liked about her. He also wrote 'I Love You' ten thousand times to show his love for her.
Shawn wins a Samsung i900 Omnia mobile phone.
