Students force teacher to kneel and apologise for mocking 'fat' kid

STOMPer EpicLeon is shocked that a Korean teacher was made to kneel in front of her students to apologise for her insensitive comments in class. The STOMPer hopes that this does not happen in Singapore schools.

Said the STOMPer:

"This is absurd!

"Teachers should never be humiliated unless their actions are extremely immoral or criminal.

"A teacher-student relationship should remain strictly as an elder-child one.

"Role-reversal will erode a teacher's effectiveness in imparting knowledge.

"Singapore is already experiencing this, with teachers having to appease parents.

"I hope it doesn't get worse, to the point where teachers become afraid of their students too."
