STOMPer Winston found several netizens saying that they would not give way to the Youth Olympic Games (YOG) buses. These inconsiderate motorists think they are entitled to the roads just because they pay road tax, he says.
In a recent report, STOMPer June june highlighted that the buses bearing the 'Give Way' decals were currently ferrying shoppers, instead of Youth Olympic Games' VIPs or participants.
STOMPer Winston wrote in an email:
"I found several online forum members criticising and making nasty remarks about the policy of giving way to YOG vehicles during game time.
"This shows the immaturity and heck-care attitudes of these inconsiderate drivers. They think they are entitled to the roads just because they pay road tax.
"I think the online forum members who made those comments are in general, not sporty people or only care about soccer.
"Secondly, they are not proud of our country.
"They are those who complain without any clue of what they are talking about
"I wonder if the authorities would issue warnings to the forum owners to remove such sensitive topics.
"Such comments damage the country's image.
"Let's hope our foreign guests don't see those nasty comments. Let's not make a fool of ourselves in front of them."

Don't want be late just travel 2 hour ahead, just like we did everyday. Join the Q (YOG)!!
not because of selfishness, or whatever.
YOG or not, people are equal.
IT is not some life-or-death type of vehicles like ambulances.
Why should it demand any special treatment to be given priority?
And why should the government collect money from people who do not agree on this point?
It is against the law (of a fair, democratic, caring, all-inclusive) society to erect "laws" here and there.
So why the give way lane there?????? A Give way lane on 2nd left lane???, slower vehicle move left or right????
